In an exceptional event, PTEC company signed a partnership agreement with the Chinese company Hikvision to establish a leading factory to manufacture security systems and advanced technologies using artificial intelligence technologies. The factory will be the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in localizing technology manufacturing. This partnership was reached after a long journey of planning and studies that included all technical, financial, and operational aspects to ensure the success of the project. The Chinese company Hikvision is one of the world’s leading companies and one of the largest manufacturers and producers of advanced security systems and products. The company also manufactures many other technology products such as servers, LEDs, smart city solutions, and others. This agreement was signed due to the great human and financial capabilities that PTEC possesses, in addition to its experience in the field of manufacturing and developing Hi-Tech systems. The factory is planned to be built in the western region of the kingdom and is expected to start operations and production by the end of 2023.
